Superman or The Flash?

Who would win in a fair foot race between Superman and The Flash? Think about it! Sure, Superman has super speed, so he'd be super fast, but The Flash's main power is his super fast running! It's his specialty!!! He runs around all day while Superman prefers to fly, this means that The Flash has more practice with running. Another thing is The Flash doesn't have a cape like Superman. He's got less to pull as he run's and the wind catching on the cape won't slow him down. Personally my opinion is in favor with The Flash. Who would you put your money on and why?
